Olympian Saeid Mohammadpourkarkaragh Admits He Is Not a Fan of Cursive

Iranian weightlifter Saeid Mohammadpourkarkaragh has come under scrutiny from the Teacher’s Union for stating that “Cursive is pointless,” and that he hates it.

For years, Saeid Mohammadpourkarkaragh was tortured by the oppressive theocratic regime in Iran.  His parents had been political dissidents, fighting for democratic freedom, but were unfortunately killed in the streets of Tehran during a protest against President Ahmadinejad.  As a punishment for leading the rebellion, their son was forced to write his name in cursive for days on end.  They did it so that he would always remember the name that rebelled against the government, and also so that he could never lift his pencil up off the paper.  For hours his hands would be cramped, but still forced to write the name over and over again until his hand was nothing but a mush ball of skin, bone and muscles.

Fortunately he was able to rehabilitate his hand in the position of holding a bar and began lifting weights.  Those weights were originally intended to signify the Iranian President so that in a Bane like glory fight would crack his back and end him.  Instead he eventually achieved the strength to enter the Olympics.  So in other words, the Teacher’s Union hates democracy.
